06.02.10    Just completed directing & producing 8 short documentaries for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (complete with music from THE SHOW!)...

Along with auditioning for ABC's newest prime-time gameshow, 6 MINDS. Our team of 6 awesome players (all good friends of mine) had 60 seconds to answer insane questions. For example: "They first appeared in 1908 Mexico. There were two of them. Over time, they came closer and closer together, like wings of a black raven. Name them." ANSWER: Frida Kahlo's eyebrows. Seriously.

Moving on to continue work on the latest batch of songs for the steampunk project as well as the script / graphic novel...

I usually detest e-mails with "inspirational" quotes... especially ones that get you all excited about life, and then require you to forward it to 10 friends within the following minute in order for the facts stated to remain true... HOWEVER... I read this quote and I thought it nice... and since I'm putting it on my website, there's no pressure for you to share it with anybody... and most importantly, since it's anonymously credited, nobody can come after me for stealing it and claiming it as my own quote...

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken. You'll fight with your best friend. You'll blame a new love for things an old one did. SO TAKE TOO MANY PICTURES, laugh too much, and love like you've never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back.
